Christmas in July

In honor of the Back to School sales in EVERY store, I wanted to remind you about what you have to look forward to this fall.

Vanity Clouds

My friend, Potluck, sent me this picture.

He said, "Melody, its so weird... after inspecting your cloud
picture more closely, I seemed to notice something..."

If I don't be careful, I'm going to get a big head.  It's a huge ego boost when clouds start spelling out my name.

Dreaming of Whipped Cream... mmm... Whipped Cream

I was bored the other night.  I had some left over heavy cream, so I thought, "I'll make real whipped cream."

It takes about fifteen minutes to stir cream into the consistency of real whipped cream.  You have to be REALLY bored to do this.

I whipped this with so much enthusiasm, I think I came close to making cheese curds. 

Here's an assignment.  In my comments section, tell me about something mindless you've done when you were really bored.

Boy, it's a smoker today.  94 degrees and muggy.  Quick, someone pass me a blueberry slushy.

Traveling Under Water

Tonight, I wanted to post a really cute picture of a bunny, but my picture turned out to be blurry. (I took 21 pictures of a blurry bunny.  Talk about frustration.)

So here is an awe-inspiring picture of deep sea divers who are swimming in about seven feet of water inside a traveling scuba truck.  Enjoy.

Boat Envy

I want a boat.  But I want an air conditioned boat.  Actually, I want an air conditioned boat that is fully stocked with lemonade, sun screen, and a hammock.  Does anyone have a boat like this for me?

Donut Update

I thought you might all like to see the serious research I did for my "History of Donuts" essay.

The donut and the milk only cost me $1.32 total.  I think I'll be doing some more research real soon.  Yum.

Anything That Floats

These leprechauns are barely treading water in the "Anything that Floats" contest held  at Point State Park in Pittsburgh this past Sunday.

Do you think I should get a raft and dress up in my pig hat for next year's contest?  Is anyone interested in joining my piggy team?
