Actually, I didn't really jump in my jelly shoes. Instead, I rode my bike in them.
I remember wanting jelly shoes SOOO BAD. They were neon. They were flexible. They were JELLY.
So I finally got my jelly shoes. (They were already going out of fashion.) I was so proud. I wanted to wear them everywhere. So I rode my bike in them.
Try to remember that jelly shoes are plastic. There's no traction anywhere. There was also a mammoth, Rocky Mountain-sized hill near my house. And that's the first place I went with my super cool jelly shoes.
I promptly wiped out, took off about 30% of my knee skin, and obliterated my shoes. And it still irks me to this day. Maybe I should buy a new pair from THIS website? What do you think?
