I consider this a hub for collecting ideas, pictures, products, and stories that make me laugh. Since I’m all about sharing, I thought other people might enjoy my collection of odd and goofy things.
Some people might wonder why I write whimsical things and post silly pictures of myself. Don’t I want to be taken seriously? My answer to this is: There are lots of funny things that happen in life. I want to notice them and enjoy them. The way I see it, I’m perfectly happy writing professional marketing copy. I can wear a business suit and speak to doctors and lawyers. I enjoy being serious. However, I can also write about plastic pencil sharpeners shaped like noses. Why should one type of writing overshadow the other?
I try to enjoy all the experiences in my life and this site is meant to celebrate that most wonderful gift of nature, a sense of humor.
If you come across G-Rated stories that make you giggle, please feel free to email me at melodychef@gmail.com. Let’s spread the laughter.
